In parliament on Wednesday (Mar 5), MP Gan Thiam Poh appealed for a new MRT line to link residents in the northeast zones of Seletar, Yio Chu Kang and Fernvale to the city area in the south, Woodlands North, Changi Airport in the east and Tuas in the west. He also called for better bus connectivity for Fernvale, where more new HDB flats have been built.
