Building a family-friendly Singapore requires a multi-faceted approach, recognising that families come in many forms, said NMP Razwana Begum Abdul Rahim. She asked how the government is addressing the “evolving definition of families” to ensure that its policies and programmes are inclusive of diverse family structures. She also wanted to know how to improve support for vulnerable and disadvantaged families and individuals, including being culturally appropriate and sensitive to complex needs.
