In parliament on Monday (Mar 10), MP Xie Yao Quan said SportSG should weed out the practice of individuals who secure SportSG court bookings to host strangers and organise games for a fee. He called this a form of on-selling masquerading as hosting and convening games on public courts funded by taxpayers. He suggested that SportSG could step in to host groups on public courts for the public good.
