She noted that bus models increasingly appear to be designed to maximise standing room and space for wheelchairs and prams, with many seats located at the rear and on a step. This poses a problem for commuters who can walk, but cannot climb stairs. She also raised concern about the “persistent” lack of lifts at pedestrian overhead bridges.
