Countries should harness AI for more efficient governance, economic productivity: PM Wong
Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said countries should look beyond the hype of artificial intelligence and ensure its responsible use to build a more efficient government and raise productivity. Addressing leaders at the G20 summit in Johannesburg, he added that governments can help workers adjust to the world of AI, and the bloc can play an important role to turn AI into an engine for global growth and good jobs. Meanwhile, Mr Wong also took the opportunity to meet with several European and Asian leaders on the sidelines of the G20 summit. Chloe Teo reports.
