Cyclone Remal: At least 15 dead, many still trapped after landslides in India's Mizoram

At least 15 people have been killed after a stone quarry collapsed in the northeast Indian state of Mizoram due to heavy rainfall in the aftermath of Cyclone Remal. Several people are still reportedly missing with rescue operations hit by incessant rainfall. Meanwhile, strong winds and heavy rain triggered by the first major cyclone of the year lashed the coastlines of India and Bangladesh on May 27, killing at least 16 people and cutting power to millions.
