DBS shares touch all-time high of S$75.80 after posting record Q2 earnings
DBS shares hit an all-time high of S$75.80 today, after the bank posted record Q2 earnings with a net profit of S$3.08 billion — up 9% on-year. Shares closed at S$75.08, up around 2%. Total income for Southeast Asia's largest bank crossed S$6 billion for the first time. CEO Tan Su Shan has raised the bank's outlook for the year. She said total income is now expected to exceed 2025 levels, riding on the tailwinds of Asia's wealth boom. Speaking to CNA's Elizabeth Neo, Ms Tan also discussed why Singapore and Hong Kong continue to attract global wealth, as well as the opportunities DBS sees in Taiwan.
