Debate on President’s Address: Tan Wu Meng on a 'brave new world' of technological disruption
The relationship between humans and technology - particularly artificial (AI) intelligence - is changing at a pace that some might say is "once in a century", said MP Tan Wu Meng in Parliament on Monday (Apr 17). With that in mind, he called on the Government to understand the challenges and opportunities that AI will bring, and ensure that public policy continues to provide direction and deepen social trust and cohesion in a "brave new world" of technological disruption.
