Driver in fatal Tampines crash arrested for dangerous driving, licence suspended

The 42-year-old male car driver who allegedly caused the fatal multi-vehicle crash in Tampines has been arrested for dangerous driving causing death. His driving licence has been suspended. Eight people were taken to hospital, including the driver of a black car which was seen on various online videos crashing into other vehicles at high speed. Two people subsequently died. Police say the driver was discharged from hospital on Apr 24 and subsequently arrested. Alxis Thng reports.
