Fewer graduates secured employment in 2024: Survey
Fewer university graduates in Singapore secured employment last year, even though they got higher pay. According to the latest Joint Autonomous Universities Graduate Employment Survey, 87.1 per cent were employed within six months of completing their final exams, dropping from the 89.6 per cent recorded in 2023. The median gross salary for fresh graduates in full-time permanent employment increased by 4.2 per cent to S$4,500 in 2024.
