Free counselling for 60,000 Orchard Road workers as part of year-long pilot

A new pilot by the Orchard Road Business Association is offering free counselling to some 60,000 workers in the area, but early take-up has been slow. To date, 46 workers have signed up for the counselling sessions. The association will review the one-year trial and hopes to expand the service further if demand continues to grow. According to the Ministry of Manpower's online survey of 15,000 employees, one in three workers faced stress or burnout at work last year. Kate Low reports.
