Govt monitoring financial impact of oil spill on affected businesses: Grace Fu

Agencies in Singapore are closely monitoring the financial impact of the oil spill on affected businesses. These are firms that run their operations on the water, or face slow business due to public perception on the smell of petrol fumes. Sea activities will resume only when water quality is assessed to be safe for primary contact activities. Meanwhile, Sustainability and the Environment Minister Grace Fu added that fish farms remain unaffected. The Singapore Food Agency has been testing seafood twice daily for contaminants.
