Grace Fu on public consultations on Singapore's climate ambitions
The Government has been closely consulting industry and citizen stakeholder groups under the Singapore Green Plan 2030. These include more than 1,200 youths and civil society representatives from green groups and non-governmental organisations through engagement sessions. Sustainability and the Environment Minister Grace Fu, who gave this update in reply to an MP's questions in Parliament on Tuesday (Sep 13), said the National Climate Change Secretariat has launched an online public consultation on Singapore's climate ambitions via REACH. The views received will be taken into consideration as Singapore finalises its climate targets later this year, she said.
