HDB survey shows stronger family bonds among households
Family bonds among households are stronger than ever. A Housing and Development Board survey found more young couples choosing to live near their parents. This proximity is becoming vital in strengthening family bonds, as parents and children could offer mutual care and support. The survey also included singles for the first time, with one-person homes on a rising trend. Regardless of household size, there was a strong satisfaction with neighborhood facilities and more residents are contributing towards stronger community bonds. Alexandra Anand reports.
