05:01 Min

India is emerging as a major Apple manufacturing hub. According to reports, key supplier Foxconn plans to double production in India to up to 30 million iPhones this year. This, as the US tech giant pivots to India as part of its strategy to diversify manufacturing beyond China.  Analysts estimate about 15% of the iPhones are currently made in India. This is projected to jump to 25% by 2027, which means one in four iPhones around the world could be made in India within the next two years. Ishan Garg reports.
