Indonesian foreign minister Sugiono attends BRICS summit in Russia after inauguration
Indonesia's new foreign minister Sugiono is making his mark at the BRICS summit, where he is expected to deliver a message of world peace and call for unity among countries in the Global South. This will be his first international appearance since being inaugurated as part of President Prabowo Subianto's cabinet on Oct 21. Meanwhile, Mr Prabowo held his first cabinet meeting on Oct 23, emphasising that national priorities must take precedence over individual political interests.
