Indranee Rajah and Leong Mun Wai on PSP Facebook post on Parliament Jul 3 session
In Parliament on Wednesday (Jul 5), Leader of the House Indranee Rajah raised concerns with a post on the Facebook page of Progress Singapore Party (PSP) showing NCMP Leong Mun Wai during a sitting on Jul 3 on the Ridout heritage properties. She said the post, coupled with a video, suggested that issues could not be fully ventilated. It also misrepresented what happened in Parliament and what Deputy Speaker Christopher de Souza said or did, she added. She asked Mr Leong, who is Secretary-General of the PSP, why such a misleading post has been put up. Mr Leong replied that he would discuss with his party on how it should respond. Ms Indranee said it would be appropriate to take down the video and make an apology in a form acceptable to Parliament. She urged him to respond by the next day (Jul 6).
