Indranee Rajah on gratitude and appreciation to healthcare and frontline workers in COVID-19 fight
Healthcare and frontline workers have been at the forefront of Singapore’s battle against COVID-19, said Leader of the House Indranee Rajah. Speaking in Parliament on Monday (Mar 20), she told the House that representative healthcare and frontline workers have been invited to attend the sitting, where the motion on Singapore's COVID-19 response will be debated later in the day. Ms Indranee said Parliament wants to acknowledge their efforts and put on record the country’s gratitude and appreciation to all healthcare and frontline workers in their presence. As such, the order of business will be revised so that the healthcare and frontline workers who will be in Parliament will not be inconvenienced, she said.
