Iran FM Araghchi blames US for failure of peace talks as he lands in Russia
Iran is ramping up engagement with its allies and neighbours, as talks with the US remain deadlocked. In the final leg of his regional tour, Iran Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is set for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He had earlier visited Oman and Pakistan. He said consultations in Islamabad included a review of conditions that could facilitate another round of negotiations with the US. However, Mr Araghchi stressed that Tehran still aims to secure its rights and national interests. Hira Mustafa reports from Islamabad.
