Jakarta braces for more protests after ride-share motorcyclist killed by police vehicle
Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has called for calm, as Jakarta braces for more demonstrations. Protesters from various groups have plagued the capital city this week, ranging from anti-government groups to labourers and students, among others. Among the issues they are protesting include parliament's decision to grant lawmakers a monthly housing allowance of some US$3,000. Mr Prabowo has also ordered an investigation into the death of a ride-sharing motorcyclist who was hit by a police vehicle on Thursday. Chandni Vatvani reports from Jakarta.
