Maids caring for young children must get measles vaccination from September 2025

Maids in Singapore must be immunised against measles from September if they are working in households with young children who are yet to be fully vaccinated. This comes as the number of infections in Singapore climbed to 11 in the first five months of this year, equalling the total logged in 2024. The highest number of infections in Singapore was in 1997, with 1,413 cases. Nadine Yeam reports.
