Malaysia and Singapore to set up special economic zone in Johor
Malaysia and Singapore will set up a special economic zone. According to Malaysian media, this will cover the Iskandar development region and Pengerang in Johor. Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and his Malaysian counterpart Anwar Ibrahim jointly announced this during the 11th Malaysia-Singapore Leaders' Retreat in Putrajaya. Both men also addressed long-standing issues during their meeting and committed to staying engaged with each other.
