Masagos Zulkifli on Building a Healthier SG

The shift to leverage community support and empower residents to lead active and healthy lives is a significant move, says Social and Family Development Minister and Second Minister for Health Masagos Zulkifli. Speaking in Parliament on Wednesday (Oct 5), he urged Singaporeans to do their part to help each other sustain healthier lifestyles and to live and age well for a healthier Singapore. He outlined the various lifestyle programmes and activities to attract different profiles and bring them closer to residents, especially the seniors. Mr Masagos said the Government is committed to enabling seniors to age and live to their fullest potential in the community. He stressed that "all hands must be on deck" to enable seniors to remain engaged and stay healthy.  He said Singapore is and will continue to be inclusive in promoting health to all.
