Motion: He Ting Ru on reinforcing Singapore’s position as a global transport hub
Singapore must redouble its efforts to remain globally indispensable, as well as champion connection and collaboration, said MP He Ting Ru. Speaking in parliament on Tuesday (Jul 7), she said the larger strategic view must never obscure the real value of economic success - to pursue growth or connectivity for Singaporeans. She stressed the need to pay close attention to whether Singapore's policies are really helping its workers, households and businesses. She also wanted to know how the government assesses whether Singapore’s digital economy and connectivity strategies are translating into tangible gains for its people and businesses.
