Motion: Tin Pei Ling on suitability of Pritam Singh as Leader of the Opposition
Parliament must insist on principles of honesty and integrity to maintain its standing and ensure that it operates effectively, said MP Tin Pei Ling in the House on Wednesday (Jan 14). She said the motion on Mr Pritam Singh’s suitability to remain as Leader of the Opposition was regrettable as there were more pressing issues to resolve. She also drew a contrast with former Workers’ Party chief Low Thia Khiang, who she said deserved much respect.
