Nationwide Go Green SG campaign to feature over 360 sustainability-related activities
Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat said enforcement, infrastructure and education are key to a cleaner and greener Singapore. He was speaking at the launch of Go Green SG, a nationwide campaign aimed at rallying citizens to be more environmentally conscious. More than 180 organisations will be offering over 360 activities and programmes for the public to learn more about environmental sustainability. These include behind-the-scenes tours showing how agencies monitor air quality, as well as volunteer activities to clean up forests at Pulau Ubin. Rachel Teng reports.Â
