NTU and NUS jointly develop quantum controller that is high performing, cost effective
Singapore is getting a boost in efforts to supercharge its AI drive. A partnership is reducing the cost of working with quantum computers. Nanyang Technological University and the National University of Singapore have jointly developed a controller, which acts as a bridge between a conventional computer and a quantum computer. Developing these controllers in-house makes it at least 50% cheaper than buying them overseas, which can cost around a million dollars. Charlotte Lim reports.Â
