Real median income in Singapore grew 4.3% in 2025

Real incomes in Singapore continued to edge up in 2025, exceeding average gains over the past decade. According to the Manpower Ministry's latest report, those at the 20th percentile have seen incomes rise 3.8% from last year, while median incomes grew 4.3% over the same period. The share of permanent employees also reached a new high of 90.8%, while resident unemployment and long-term unemployment remained low. Caitlin Ng reports.
