Rural elementary school in South Korea fills its classrooms with grandmothers

South Korea has the lowest fertility rate in the world. Some 3,800 elementary schools in the country are reported to have closed in the last 40 years due to falling enrolment. The situation is especially dire in rural areas, but one elementary school is trying to fill its classrooms again -- by enrolling grandmothers in the village who never went to school.
