Russia's Putin, India's Modi among leaders attending SCO summit and military parade in China
Russian President Vladimir Putin will be attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in the Chinese city of Tianjin, as well as a military parade in capital Beijing to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. The Kremlin has described Mr Putin's upcoming visit to China as "completely unprecedented". Observers said it marks a show of collective defiance amid Western pressure. While in China, Mr Putin is also expected to hold talks with other international leaders, including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
