US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has urged NATO to purchase more American weapons, following a report suggesting sharp falls in recent spending to support Ukraine in its war against Russia. Recent violations of European airspace has also fuelled fears of conflict spilling over from Ukraine. NATO members have reported more cases of drone incursions, with many being linked to Russia.
