SG Youth Plan to benefit half a million youths over next 5 years
A new plan to benefit at least half a million youths in Singapore will be rolled out over the next five years. The plan is based on discussions with more than 60,000 young people for more than a year, collecting more than 415,000 responses. It revealed youth aspirations in their careers, social life and contributions. The Youth Plan lays out specific ways to create more career opportunities, develop community spaces and enhance ways to contribute to society. The Culture, Community and Youth Ministry will work on it with more than 200 partners. Acting Minister David Neo says this plan is co-created with youths and cannot be top-down in any way.
