Singapore firms upbeat about opportunities in Chinese city of Tianjin: Desmond Lee

During his visit to the Chinese city of Tianjin, Singapore's National Development Minister Desmond Lee met Tianjin's Party Secretary Chen Min'er to discuss further ways to collaborate. These include a potential dedicated workforce to help Singapore businesses integrate better into Tianjin. Mr Chen also lauded new developments in the Tianjin Eco-city, announced at the 10th Singapore-Tianjin Economic and Trade Council meeting. Singapore and Tianjin have also signed five new deals in areas like low-carbon development, eldercare and trade.
