Singapore to invest S$37b in research, innovation and enterprise over next 5 years
Singapore is pumping in S$37 billion into its next five-year plan for research, innovation and enterprise. This is about one per cent of the country’s GDP and S$9 billion more than the previous budget. It aims to support key economic and national priorities in four areas - manufacturing, health, digital economy and sustainability, on top of leveraging AI and enhancing the talent pool.
