Singapore must chart its own way out of messy global transition: PM Wong

Speaking at the S Rajaratnam Lecture, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong called on the nation to rally together and chart its course, amid what he described as a fragmented and disorderly world. He said Singapore can no longer depend on a supportive global environment of cooperation for growth, with the US retreating from global leadership and heightening its rivalry with China. Mr Wong added that Singapore must find ways to navigate this "messy transition". Richa Mathew reports.
