South Korea to develop 'iron dome' amid growing threats from North
South Korea has unveiled a plan to enhance its defence capabilities with a long-range missile interceptor. The system, expected to come into operation in 2028, is intended to protect civilians and military facilities from possible strikes from North Korea. The government plans to spend US$330 million on the project over the next three years.
