Singapore set to reaffirm Gaza aid, two-state solution on FM Vivian Balakrishnan's Middle East trip
Singapore is set to reaffirm its commitment towards humanitarian aid for Gaza and its support for a two-state solution. These will come through Foreign Affairs Minister Vivian Balakrishnan's four-day visit to the Palestinian Territories and Israel. In Parliament recently, Dr Balakrishnan said Singapore will contribute US$500,000 to fight hunger in Gaza through the World Food Programme, bringing the country's total humanitarian assistance for Gaza to over S$24 million.
