Workplace safety and health: Seven work-related traffic deaths in 2026; surpassing 2025's total

Seven work-related traffic fatalities were recorded in the first half of 2026, already exceeding last year's total of six deaths. More than half of the deaths involved platform workers. Speaking at a conference on workplace safety and health, Minister of State for Manpower Dinesh Vasu Dash says the rise in incidents underscores the need for stronger safeguards.
