New hydrogen-ready gas turbine among initiatives under six new deals for Jurong Island
US$150m or about S$196m will go towards developing a new hydrogen-ready gas turbine on Singapore's Jurong Island. The electricity generated will support facilities on the island and Singapore's grid. It is part of six new deals to enhance the island's R&D capabilities, as well as boost talent development and infrastructure.
