Singapore farmers exploring use of shared logistics to tackle rising costs

A group that represents at least 50 farmers in Singapore is hoping to tackle rising expenses through a new shared logistics service. The potential pilot aims to reduce delivery runs, cut distribution costs and make local produce more affordable. The idea is to set up central distribution hubs, so farmers can drop off their produce in one place for buyers or distributors to collect. Led by the Singapore Agro-Food Enterprises Federation, the initiative could transform how food moves from farm to table.
