Mobile dental clinic to serve nearly 2,000 seniors in nursing homes over next three years

Nearly 2,000 seniors living in nursing homes can receive dental care at their doorstep over the next three years. The National Dental Centre's first-ever mobile clinic, which is supported by a sponsorship of more than S$2 million, aims to visit 10 nursing homes. An ongoing study has found that more than one in three nursing home residents have no teeth left. The National Dental Centre said under-served communities need better access to oral care.
