400 residents attend Ramadan sahur event at Geylang Serai Market

About 400 Geylang Serai residents from diverse backgrounds gathered at Geylang Serai Market on Mar 1 for the pre-dawn meal marking the start of a day of fasting during Ramadan. They were joined by the Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs, as well as MPs from Marine Parade-Braddell Heights GRC and Mountbatten SMC. Associate Professor Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim said such events help strengthen unity amid global uncertainty by bringing people of different races and religions together.
