Defence Minister Chan Chun Sing urges future military leaders to master emerging tech

Defence Minister Chan Chun Sing has urged Singapore’s next generation of military leaders to master emerging technology, develop new operational concepts and care for defence personnel. Among this year’s defence scholarship recipients are Felicia Tan and Fabius Tan, who are exploring how fields such as artificial intelligence and quantum technology can strengthen Singapore’s defence capabilities. A total of 101 scholarships were awarded across eight categories. Sherlyn Seah reports.
