Singapore and Australia will speed up trade negotiations covering essential supplies, including petroleum oils. Both sides will also explore options for bilateral arrangements, including consultation and early notification in the event of potential disruptions. These were outlined in a joint statement on energy security by Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese.
