Sun Xueling on crisis preparedness in schools, places of worship, hospitals and public institutions
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has been collaborating with community partners, which includes religious organisations, schools and hospitals, to prevent, detect and respond to terror attacks, said Minister of State for Home Affairs Sun Xueling. Replying to MPs' questions in parliament on Wednesday (Feb 26), she stated that besides working with the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth through its Crisis Preparedness for Religious Organisations programme, the MHA also works closely with the Ministry of Education on crisis preparedness in schools. In addition, the Ministry of Health continually enhances the security resilience of the healthcare sector through various measures, she said.
