Sun Xueling on enhancing National Anti-Violence Helpline
The integrated National Anti-Violence Helpline has received 8,400 calls. This number is for the period from Jan 18 last year, when it started operations, until December. To make it easier to report abuse and violence, the Government will enhance the helpline to allow multiple modes of reporting, such as via a web link or mobile application. The enhancements will be rolled out by the end of this year. Minister of State for Social and Family Development Sun Xueling said this in reply to an MP's question in Parliament on Tuesday (Mar 8).
