US-China trade war benefits Malaysia as foreign firms move from China

The ongoing trade tensions between Beijing and Washington is resulting in many foreign companies moving their manufacturing facilities out of China. Malaysia is one of the countries benefiting from the exodus, as semiconductor and electric vehicle companies have been relocating to Southeast Asia to bypass trade restrictions between China and the United States, as well as strengthen their supply chains.
