Louis Chua on Workplace Fairness (Dispute Resolution) Bill
An inclusive and just society demands robust protection against discrimination, not just regulatory compliance, said MP Louis Chua. Speaking in parliament on Tuesday (Nov 4), he highlighted the need to review the claim limits, as well as ensure access to the claims process for workers who are already disadvantaged. Mr Chua also stressed the need to strengthen transparency through publication of anonymous judgments and company names, and reconsider the time bias that may otherwise exclude workers still navigating job transitions.
