Desmond Lee on impact of UPLIFT programme
The work of the Uplifting Pupils in Life and Inspiring Families Taskforce (UPLIFT) programme has been scaled up through integration with ComLink+. In 2023 and 2024, about 70 per cent of ComLink+ families with school-going children had all children attending school regularly and progressing to post-secondary education institutions. As ComLink+ was launched recently, more time would be needed to observe the impact. Education Minister Desmond Lee gave this update in reply to an MP’s questions in parliament on Thursday (Feb 12).
