Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim on medical care for prison inmates with serious health conditions
The Singapore Prison Service has a healthcare delivery system that is aligned with national standards. Inmates receive appropriate levels of primary medical care within the Prison Medical Complex. For those with complex medical conditions, medical experts may advise that there is a need for highly specialised treatment which is not available in the complex. Such cases may be treated at public healthcare institutions and National Specialty Centres. Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim said this in reply to an MP’s question in parliament on Thursday (Sep 25).
